This students' practice book takes the difficult area of idioms and organises it in such a way that students can make sense of it. The book is divided into over 70 units: each unit features an opening exercise dealing with literal meanings and at least 16 common idioms; two or more exercises designed to contextualise and make the meaning of each idiom clear are also included. Every unit is presented in a double-page spread, with illustrations and an answer key. The idioms have been organised by metaphor, by topic, by function and by key word.
