It is hard to imagine an infant classroom where mental mathematics is not used every day. However, setting aside a regular time for mental mathematics ensures that children have plenty of experience and practice in this important area of the curriculum. This book is fun, as well as providing standard practice. Teachers can give children a set of questions to do while they work with a child that needs individual attention.
