Cracow, for 700 years the ancient capital of Poland, is its most historic and architecturally ornate city and one of Europe's architectural gems. Its oldest quarter is on UNESCO's list of the world's 12 most precious monuments. Cracow tells the story of the city from its Silver Age in the 14th century through its Golden Age in the 15th and 16th centuries, up to the present day.
