An ensemble of exciting young playwrights took over the National Theatre's Paintframe studio in 2011 (directed by Polly Findlay and Lyndsey Turner), to present two double bills of four new short plays. Volume 2 contains There Is War by Tom Basden (Joseph K and Party) and Nightwatchman by Prasanna Puwanarajah (writing credits include the short films The Half Light and Clamp and Grind).
