Joss Whedon, the pop-culture mastermind behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, bridged the gap between his cult-hit Firefly TV series and his Serenity motion picture with this three-issue mini-series, penned by Whedon and Brett Matthews, a Firefly show writer.
